Philippa Crawford has been an artist for 20 years and has been making
art-to-wear brooches for 12 of them. The idea behind the brooches was that
people could have a small piece of real art to take with them into daily
life and the idea and end result is as innovative and fresh today as it was at
it's inception. Philippa was born and currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland UK.
She has lived abroad for a large part of her life, spending most of the time in
France, Sweden and California.

For many years Philippa Crawford has been included in many major
exhibitions, both solo and group shows.
Her work has been seen in such diverse venues as the Barbican in London,
The Mussee des Arts decoratifs at the Louvre in Paris and the
Albright Knox Gallery in New York. She has also exhibited in Japan.
